We finally got around to installing that drip irrigation system in the vegetable garden this weekend. It took a few hours of measuring, cutting the main hose, and adding emitters near each plant bed, but seeing the water gently soak into the soil without any runoff makes it all worthwhile. No more dragging the hose around or worrying about overwatering the tomatoes.
